R & L Archery's Annual Handgun Demo Day

This year our handgun demo day will be on April 26,2008. It will be from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Barre Fish & Game Club on School Rd. Our tenative list of manufacturers is Smith & Wesson, Remington, Ruger, Heritage, Kimber, and more. The only cost is the ammo.

Attention Coyote Hunters

For those of you who missed our predator hunting seminar we captured a few of the basics that Tom tried to impart on us.

• Coyotes eat the equivalent of their own body weight in food every week
• Coyotes store no body fat, so when the temperature is below 20 degrees farenheit they are constantly on the move seeking food
• The best way to locate a coyote's bedding area is to use a howler 2 hours before dark. Each pack will usually respond with howls. You should then wait a week or so before hunting that area.
