It may be some of the oldest technology in the firearms department, but there is nothing primitive about hunting with your muzzleloader. The new guns from Thompson/Center and CVA shoot just as well as your rifle. Of course, the rifle itself is the barest of minimums. That is the one nice thing about muzzleloader hunting, there is no end to the stuff. Cleaning patches and brushes, bore scrubber, lead round balls, sabbots, loose powder, pellets, primers, caps, ball starters, wad pullers, speed loaders. We have all of this stuff just sitting here waiting for a new home. Why not yours?
